ESFAHAN’S SEASHELL MUSEUM is of the most beautiful museums of Isfahan and we do recommend everyone to visit this place at least once. This is the first museum for seashells and sea snails. A very big proportion of what you will see there, is the outcome of the efforts made by Captain Hasan Khaje during 25 years as he started collecting all of the different items during these years.
In this museum you can get familiar with different species from the Persian Gulf, Oman Sea and the khazar Sea. Moreover, you will get to know different species of the oceans and seas.
More than 2000 creatures from more than 800 species are living there containing, hard shells, cherries and soft shells. This collection will give you the chance to picture yourself in an ocean atmosphere and get to know the sea environment even more.
