The world garden evokes a large place full of trees and water pools where you can relax and Persian had their own way to create a delightful place to rest and relax and symbolize paradise. From Achaemenid, Persian gardens had special design. Its beauty and delicacy made them as UNESCO Heritage Site including 9 gardens in Iran. The four natural elements Sunlight, fresh air, water, soil, and trees was considered. The Persian garden are divided to four section. All the gardens in Iran has the same design no matter where are they located.
Bagh Shazdeh (the garden of the prince) is located 6 kilometers away from Mahan a city in Kerman is one of 9 chosen gardens and largest garden in Iran. The mansion in the garden was built during Ghajar dynasty (1794-1925) by the owner of Kerman’s government.
Existence of such a beauty and lush 5.5 hectares garden in the middle of dessert is like a magic. Thanks to the Tigran river and creative irrigation system a Qanat, water entre to the garden from the highest point and flow all over the garden and watered plant trees and make pools and fountain which make a fantastic view and delightful atmosphere.
The garden have3 main building. Portal, palace, Hamam.
The portal is well designed by tile and bricks and maid in 2 floors. The gate let you in to the little paradise and the second floor give you a breathtaking view of the garden.
The palace is on highest point of the garden. the line of the trees and multi-stories pools with automatic mechanical fountains and cascades guide you to the palace. the fountains are one of the important indicators of Persian gardens. The difference level and size of the pipes irrupt the water.
The pavilion in middle of the garden has two floor and give you a unique view of the garden. the wooden doors are ornamented by colorful glasses which is a common art in Ghajar period.
