This monument is one of the oldest buildings in Isfahan, the current appearance of the mosque is related to Seljukian era but repairs and reforms of building dates back to Safavian dynasty. The existence of four porches around the square, is unique mark of mosques in Iran which was a commonplace after being used in this building. This place includes different parts, the most important part of the building is Al-Jayto mosque that includes a very beautiful pulpit.
This mosque has different kinds of Sangab in every side with different designs. This Sangabs are popular to ‘Darvish porch Sangab’ and ‘Saheb porch Sangab’.
Rare tiling, wonderful muqarnases, fantastic molding, beautiful columns and inscriptions are the attractions of this building that make it different from the other buildings.
