Malileh is a fine art of using metals. Silver and gold were always precise but it was Iranian expertise to make anything more and more elegant by their creativity. Iranian filigree work backs to Achaemenid era at 4 B.C.
The basic material is bullion silver to convert it to thin silver thread so they would be able to form it by hand.To shape it in beautiful traditional Eslimi pattern it should be heated to 1300 c degree. The twisted silver thread will be formed in artistic patterns and soldered together or to the surface.
This art was used to make jewelry, rings, brooch decorated with precise stones.
