The 2500 years old village is an entrance to traditional Iran. This village is remained alive by its local habitats. They still speak in old Pahlavi and dress in traditional costume. for women its white long scarfs whit floral patterns, under-knee skirts, and pants.
The first thing that you will notice from your first step in this village is red houses. They have covered the house by red soil as the soil of that area is red.the houses of the village remained from 3 eras. The house of the Seljuks has no yard and has 5 meters porch. The houses of Safavid era have 4 porch and ornaments and the special two door-knockers are the element remained from Ghajar era.
These houses are made by stone and clay and have latticed windows and wooden doors.the architecture of the village has a ancient architectural style as each houses roof serve as the courtyards for other houses higher up on the slope.
One of the is heavier in long shape was designed for men to use and another circular shape was for women. Each one sounds different so the host would know if it is a man or a women
