As Isfahan is located near a river agriculture and farming have been a job for Isfahanians so the dishes include different type of legumes and seeds and beans and of course rice.
The name of this meal shows its basic ingredient which is mung bean and a kind of wild cabbage or kohlrabi called “Ghomry” . It is different from cabbage, it have less leave and Is a round dense stem vegetable whit crisp texture sweat test . It is so low calorie and rich in vitamin C.
Other ingredients are rice, meat, and special vegetables. All of the ingredients will be cooked and well mixed to become a thick Persian soup called "Halim". Serve with fried onion, "Kashk” , vegetables ,bread.
