Takht-e-Foolad is the name of an old cemetery In Esfahan city (also that is called Lessan-ol-arz or Baba Rokonoddin). Archaeologists say that the age of this cemetery comes back to before Islam.
Before Safavid dynasty, it was used as a place for gathering dervishes and also there is a sepulcher which known as “Baba Rokonodin”.
In Safavid dynasty, they built a caravanserai, next to the cemetery. The cemetery was private and only important people are buried there like: Yoshee Nabi, Bahaodine Mohammad Esfahani (Fazel Hendi), Rahim Arbab, Jahangir Qashqayi, Taj Shams Abadi, Baba Roknoddin.
