Milad tower is a multi-functional telecommunication tower in the north-west of Tehran, Iran. This is a building of 435 meters height which was started in 1376 and it was opened in 1387 with the slogan ‘The Sky Is Close’.
The basement is about 13000 meters and in terms of the vastity of the basement it is number one in the world and in ranked number is 6 among the highest telecommunication towers in the world. The total weight of the building is 21000 tones and apart from the 6 main elevators of the core building, there are 2 other elevators which can carry 10 people.
The architecture is inspired by the Iranian buildings; for instance, dome, for which Iranian are known.
Due to the amazing height and its different shape, the tower is visible from all of the areas of Tehran and hence is a sign for the capital of Iran. The tower is overall five floors. In the part in which there is the Center for International Relations there are Conference Hall, a five-star hotel, a restaurant, the escape room, zip line, the spinning restaurant, the visiting platform, the sky dome, the museum of luminary and shopping centers.
